Children Around the World Having Fun Without iPods
I would like to travel to remote villages and meet with children from around the world. I would like to see how kids who don't have access to technology have fun.
After being a missionary in Thailand, I was always in awe how the children would play with each other. They didn't have video games, TV's, internet, iPods, and some didn't even have bicycles. They would play amusing games and have adventures like kids SHOULD have. I've spent significant time in 6 different villages from all different areas of Thailand. I have a real passion for playing with children and seeing them laugh and smile.
I have a vision of being in the most ridiculously remote and outlandish areas to capture TRUE lifestyles. I hate those "people zoos" where people are on show to show off their culture. I'm a purist and want to see people live and interact in their real life settings. I want to capture pictures from the country side of the United States, the coast line of Japan, remote villages in India, children in the slums of Africa, the hills of Iceland, children in Iraq, Indonesia or Brazil. There are so many children to meet.
I'm very active and adventurous and will have no problem hiking dozens of miles, staying with strangers who speak a different language. I have the equipment, knowledge, and talent to take awe inspiring and life changing images. I have learned that you don't have to be wealthy to have fun and I want my images to convey that message.

Aright, this kicks tail. I remember riding bikes, building forts...and I'm NOT that old! While technology is an amazing, sometimes I think we've forgotten about he wonders outside our smartphones, laptops, and digital networks. I would LOVE to see a project reminding us of beauty in simplicity.

You're right. Kids DID have a good time in Thailand. I couldn't believe how good they were at soccer without any shoes on. Maybe the rest of the world should take a hint? Anyway, can I go with you? And bring my husband? Think about it.

Unite against the “network” that is scheming votes. Support ideas that are “lost” due to unworthy ideas using low tactics. “Insulin” is not the best idea.
