R O O T : B A L L
In this worldwide shoot I will explore the connections and universal truths for which we all yearn and that course through humanity. Candid, heartfelt, edgy photos will be rich with inspiration and introspection.
This shoot will span the United States and several locations worldwide to seek out genuine truth and joy in humanity throughout this big root ball on which we live.
The U.S. portion will consist of one big road trip across the country in an Airstream with an assistant, seeking out life and excitement and hidden stories. Then around the world, looking for the same in locations to-be-determined.
These will not be the same hackneyed travel photographs, but rather will be FRESH, playful, evocative, slices-of-life. I'll be down and dirty, meeting people, learning about their lives, and searching for answers and questions for us all.
The end result will be R O O T : B A L L - a book of all the photographs and characters, as well as mementos like their hand-drawn maps, drawings, etc.
